Here we go again.....
We'll I'm back....just in time for colder weather, a yard full leaves, rotten pumpkins, a runny nose and kids at the door begging for candy. For the most part i don't mind Halloween to much, it gives me an excuse to buy alcohol and candy buy the case, order pizza, relax on the couch in my bloomers and and see how closely I can guess how long it will take the girl walking backwards into the woods to fall down and be slaughtered by the bad guy in the scary movie.....all of them. Its getting to the point I don't even know who I am watching anymore Jason, Freddie, Michael, or Norman Bates....its pretty ridiculous.....or maybe its the alcohol. Either way the repeated knocks at the door provide relief from the terrifying ordeal and give me an excuse to get up and make another drink. As for the knocks at the door the little kid are adorable but as for the older kids.....the ones that are bigger than me and curing at the slow old lady, would it be so wrong if i dipped the contents of the cat box in chocolate, wrapped in foil and threw it at them. I swear some of them kids are like 25....probably selling it to little kids for drug money. I do feel for the parents spending hours on their feet, walking miles in the frigid cold trying to keep up with their sugar loaded kids determined to hit every door in the city. Wonder how much a freezing cold stressed out parent would be willing to pay for a shot. Well I have some pre-Halloween preparations to make and i need to get change for twenties so i'll say good bye for now. Have a happy and safe Halloween and if you see any 6 ft trick or treaters running down the road with brick in their mouth it wasnt me. If you get cold and need a shot I think $3.00 is a fair price. Cheers!

Day 1
Well here goes nothing. I am a middle aged mother and grandma just trying to fit in this virtual world we've all come to live in and share. While I am no stranger to chaos, confusion, or craziness I am new to blogging. So if I screw up or if there is just something you'd like to know go ahead and ask, I might even answer..lol If there are any suggestions you might like to suggest, go ahead and suggest them. Either they'll help me or they wont. They can't hurt...or maybe they will..well ya never know til ya try. So that's what i'll do. I'll try to supply you with some useful information and probably some not so useful information, And hopefully my life and my corner of the world wont completely bore you to death.
Where is my corner of the world you ask? Utah...Salt Lake City to be exact. As side from the Mormons, ridiculous liquor laws and a giant smelly lake it's not so bad. The mountains are beautiful and the air is clean.....once you get to the top of them. They are also covered in the worlds greatest snow or so I am told. I havent figured out whats so great about shoveling and shoveling just to get out of the driveway then sliding sideways down the freeway all the way to work. Its like watching cars figure skating around each other trying to get to their destination with the highest score. Just what makes our snow the greatest....i have no stinking clue so if anybody out there does please let me know.
I have been married for nearly 23 unforgettable years, the things i wanna forget i can't, the things i wanna remember i forgot. I do love my husband with all my heart although sometimes...well most times I'm not exactly sure why. Lets just say the life we have built together is...well i'm not sure what it is which is probably why the kids moved out the day after graduation, but they do come back and visit and even trust us with the grandkids so it can't be all bad but it is definitely fun and Iwouldnt change a thing.
Well your probably bored so stiff you cant even clikc the mouse to get off this page so i'll say good night for now and hope i'm not the cause of any nightmares.
Hopefully you might even come back.
